Royal Mail have told us that their prices are increasing in April and, more worryingly, they are changing the Packets price bands. They are making all parcels up to 750g the same price instead of 4 price bands.
This means sending one pair of 30mm eyes will cost us the same to send as a pack of 50 pairs.
Unfortunately they will not be telling us the new prices until the week before they go up.
We may have to look at putting the P+P prices up, which we have not done for 3 years.

Well by now you will probably have all heard the massive rise in the Royal Mail prices.
We are pretty annoyed that our business prices will be going up on 2nd April but the stamp prices are not going up until end of April. We would rather all prices went up on the same day - preferably the later the better
We have been actively looking at other delivery options but none of them are interested in the large selection of sizes we send. They prefer them to be all the same size or at least have some idea of how many we would send in each size - impossible to predict.
We are at a lost on how to adjust our prices because of the change in the bands stated in the previous post. And time is getting short, so any rise will be at very short notice. Many Google pages and other places our site is advertised will be wrong for quite a while - not much we can do about that as we have very little control over things like that.
We will put on a poll with options but if you would rather email or pm me then please do - but time is of the essence

We have not had many votes even though quite a few people have viewed this thread. So we can only conclude that most of you either expect your orders to be over £20 or you would accept any of the options.
We will most probably go with the middle option but we still have some calculating to do.
The prices will rise on 20th April so any order placed after 6pm on Thursday 19th April 2012 will be at the higher P+P price.

Thank you for your feedback - we had a few Private Messages and emails about this as well as the couple of votes.
The majority of the feedback was positive and we have gone with the middle option.
P+P prices went up at 6pm on Thursday 19th April to free over £15 for UK orders and £2.50 for small UK orders.
Airmail prices are going up at the end of April so any S+P quote accepted before 6pm on Thursday 26th April will be at the old prices. Any S+P quote sent out will have this deadline clearly stated.
