We have had lots of enquiries about the new rules that came into force in July 2013.

We have asked all our suppliers for the new information and, despite lots of reminders to them, we have still not managed to get anything out of them yet

We think they are struggling as all the manufacturers (who do the testing) are outside the UK.

As soon as we get more information it will be posted on here and on all the Safety Eyes, Noses and Joints pages.

If anyone can shed more light on these regulations, or know of any companies who can do the testing for you, please let us know.

One of our suppliers (Just Crafts) has done the testing and the results have been sent to us.

Unsurprisingly, all items passed

You can download the new results via the pink i icon at the top of any Safety Eye or Nose page.

Some items are only supplied by Groves and Banks who have not sent us the results of those items yet, we will keep trying. But we think the result would be the same
