Any of you ladies in the flood areas? It makes me shudder to watch it on TV, I feel for those poor people.
We should have been going to a camp site (camping!) near Stratford-Upon-Avon on Saturday, needless to say we are not going. We have booked a 4 day break in a static caravan on the south coast, Monday to Friday next week instead. And a B&B break in Cornwall at the end of August.
No holiday abroad this year, where is evryyone else going?

Floods
In the Summer Newsletter we made a joke of the fact that Dianne and Peter had not been able to cruise along the River Nene because of the floods. They in fact didn't move from the local Lake (Ferry Meadows) for about 4 weeks and felt very hard done by.
However, these comments now look in very poor taste with what has happened since. Everyone who has been affected in any way by the floods are in our thoughts and we hope things are sorted soon.
However we did get some nice emails to wish them well on the rest of their retirement - and the comments about Ark almost had Dianne fall off her chair!
To get back to Ros's original question - I only get away in December when Craft Bits is closed after Xmas so I expect bad weather. But Dawn from the DKY warehouse is taking a week off in a couple of weeks to go Camping with the kids. Not sure where - will ask her tomorrow.
