introducing myself
Hi, my name is Dianna and I have recently arrived from Australia, been in the country about two months. We (me and my husband ) will be here for around three years. I am interested in most crafts although at the moment am doing mainly knitting and cross stitch. Interested in any suggestions on how to meet other people with similar interests

Hi and welcome , not very good weather for your arrival in England! Where abouts in Australia have you come from? Our favourite holiday destination been twice, family out there NSW. My sister lives in Belligen and owns a craft shop in a Urunga near Coffs Harbour. Hope you are settling in.
Maybe you could find a local craft group although I don't know of any myself in our area Hitchin aprox 22 miles away from Miltom Keynes. Hope to hear more from you.

Thanks for the reply, we are from Canberra, have lived there for about 15 years before that in Sydney on the the North Shore. It is a lovely country and can see why it is one of your favorite places to visit. I thought of a craft group might try the library to see if they know of any. I think that there is a knitting club at Borders book shop every so often so will into that as well.
