UPDATED AGAIN - ROYAL MAIL STRIKE

Post by admin »

LATEST NEWS IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS THREAD
Due to the Royal Mail Strike on Friday 29th June 2007 we will not be able to send any parcels on that day.

We will send as many as we can on the Thursday before the strike but we cannot guarantee the will be delivered before the following week. Even if your area is not affected by the strike there will still be delays as the post may be held up on its journey in other parts of the country.

The office will be closed on the Friday but will re-open as normal on the Saturday at 11am. Normal service should be resumed on Monday 2nd July at 9am.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

There is another Postal Strike from 7pm on Wednesday 25th July.

We will send as many as we can on the Wednesday before the strike but we cannot guarantee they will be delivered before the following week. Even if your area is not affected by the strike there will still be delays as the post may be held up on its journey in other parts of the country.

We believe this is an on going situation and will update you on here with any further information we get.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The strikes seem to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the moment.

We are sending out as many as we can on the other days but the delivery of your parcels may be delayed because of these strikes.

If you have not received your parcel within 5 days of us notified you it has been sent please contact your local Royal Mail office. It is much easier for you to check your local office than for us to - we don't have Yellow Pages which cover the whole UK :D

If the Royal Mail Strikes go ahead this week there will be no parcels sent out after Wednesday 3rd October until Wednesday 10th October.

Orders placed after Wednesday at 11am cannot be guarantee to be sent until the strikes are lifted next week but we will do our best. Extra Warehouse staff have been drafted in to help.

The shopping basket is still active so you can still order. The Office and Warehouse are open as normal and will process your parcels. This means your card may be charged a couple of days before your order is actually picked up by Royal Mail.

All orders will be sent as soon as we can but there may be a back log. We can only hope that they all (both sides :? ) come to their senses before too long.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.

At the moment we really don't know what Royal Mail pickups we are going to get next week.

We know (we think) we have defiantly (probably) got a pick up on Monday.

If we know there will be disruption there will be a note in the Shopping Basket, on the Main Home Page and in here.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.
