Lovely weather at last

Fantastic weather at last Have just got back from 4 day break in Fareham near Portsmouth, had a lovely time Only a little rain on Thursday back to the decorating and normality!
What is everyone else up too?

Hi Ros

I am gald you had a lvely holiday. The weather in Kent as not been too bad but there is a forecast for rain later this afternoon/evening. I guess that will keep me indoors and keep my knitting needles clicking.

I have got a lot of projects on the go and it would be nice to claer those out of the way before September. I am knitting something for myself. The rest time in a longt time. I am knitting a long cabled aran cardigan that I can wear as a coat in the winter. I have done it in Navy and it looks good so far. It knits very quick as it took me about four days to complete the back, left front and half of the right front. I am going to start the sleeves today and hope that by this time mext week I have finished it.

Then I am going to make something for partner. I started a sweater for me two months ago in Sirdar cotton and was very disappoiinted with it. It is lovely wool but did not feel this was the right wool to use for the sweater. I have ordered alternative wool and feel more confident that will be more appropriate.

Sorry I have just waffled on. What is your next project or shall I say current project?
